Why this role matters to our organization: The Contract Administrator keeps our operations running smoothly by managing and maintaining critical contracts and contractor compliance. By ensuring agreements are accurate, up to date, and risk-aware, the Contract Administrator protects the company and enables teams to focus on delivering safe, efficient, and profitable operations. What it takes to be successful in this role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to support the company in managing, negotiating, and maintaining contracts and agreements. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting, negotiating and administering Master Service Agreements (MSAs), midstream agreements, confidentiality agreements, purchase orders, and other commercial contracts, with a focus on ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting business objectives. Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions -\tDraft, review, and negotiate MSAs, confidentiality agreements, and other agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders and external parties. -\tMaintain an organized and up-to-date contract management system, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking. -\tManage contractor compliance and documentation through Veriforce. -\tProvide guidance to internal teams on contractual terms, obligations, and risks. -\tCollaborate with operations, procurement, legal, and finance teams to support contract execution and management. -\tMonitor contract performance and compliance, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions. -\tAssist with audits, reporting, and recordkeeping related to contracts. -\tSupport ad hoc projects related to process improvements, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation. Core Competencies: -\tResponsiveness to Tasks -\tOwnership of Projects -\tAttention to Detail -\tHitting Deadlines -\tWorking Well with Others -\tNegotiation and Communication Skills Education and Experience (required): -\tHigh school diploma or equivalent. -\t3+ years of experience in contract administration, commercial contracts, or procurement. -\tStrong knowledge of contract structure, negotiation strategies, and contract lifecycle management. -\tExperience with Document Intelligence or similar contract management platforms. -\tExperience with Veriforce or similar contractor management/compliance platforms. -\tExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. -\tAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience (preferred): -\tAssociate’s degree in Business Administration, paralegal studies or a related field. -\t5+ years of experience in contract administration, commercial contracts, or procurement. -\tExperience in the oil and gas industry is preferred. Other Requirements: -\tMust be able to pass a pre-employment background screening -\tAbility to legally work in the US without sponsorship Additional Information Compensation: Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $58,800 – $90,700 annually in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above. Location: This position is in Denver, CO. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location. No relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position. Work Environment: This position operates in an office and field environment. This entails working inside an office space wherein employees may be provided a public work station (cubicle) or private office. From time to time, the role will require field visits where exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges and other unforeseen exposures may be encountered. Physical Demands: In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position. Position Type and Working Hours: This is a full-time position. We operate on a 9/80 work schedule. Typical work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on working Fridays. Employee must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and to participate in occasional meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours. Travel: Occasional travel to work site locations may be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
