Summary This position is responsible for administering workflows related to the Contracts Support function. Position will own routing, documenting, archiving, and tracking of all corporate contracts, as well as work exception items to ensure proper handling of contract-related matters and aid in risk mitigation. This well organized, detail-oriented staff person will serve as the primary user of the Contract Lifecycle Management platform. The Contracts Specialist will assist in managing compliance with all processes, protocols and policies related to contracts, both internal and external, and handle general administrative/clerical duties related to departmental/function processes and deliverables, or as may be assigned within the contract management department. Education • Minimum of Associate Degree; Contract Management, Paralegal or similar preferred, • Substantial work experience in direct contract management in substitution for Degree will be considered, • Bachelor Degree (BS/BA) is a plus, • Professional certification in contracts management is favorable Experience • Minimum 2+ years working in a professional contracts/business/legal role, • Experience working with a Contract Lifecycle Management platform desired, • Experience working in contracts management a plus, • Experience working in the industrial sector a plus, • Experience producing valued outcomes in a timely manner with minimal supervision, • Experience with and understanding of process work-flows Essential Functions • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and methodologies relative to contracts, • Collaborate with other internal departments to gather information, • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email and telephone, • Manage contract communications; Document and track status; Maintain working que of items in process, • Assemble, manage and maintain contracts inventory and reminder dates, • Preview contracts, assign indexing tags, and track as needed, • Work with Contracts Manager to meet contract review and execution deadlines, • Work with project manager to configure and deploy CLM platform enhancements, • Document workflow inefficiencies, bottlenecks and other challenges in the contracts process, • Work with Product Managers to address deficits or deficiencies in documented contracts inventory, • Report timely and regularly the status of all Contracts to supervisor, • Assist the Contracts Manager with minor modifications, and/or submit for review to legal, • Document and support intermediate negotiation stages **Please note that this role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship/assistance at this time.
