Job Description We are currently hiring Case Manager 1 and Case Manager 2 positions to support day‐to‐day Program operations, assist applicants, and ensure cases are processed in alignment with Program guidelines and requirements. Position Overview Both Case Manager 1 and Case Manager 2 play critical roles in supporting applicant case processing within the Program’s functional areas. Each level varies by level of supervision, experience, and complexity of assigned tasks: • Case Manager 1 – Works under direct supervision, focuses on customer service, applicant support, outreach, documentation, and general program tasks. Key Responsibilities (Both Levels) • Process applicant cases in accordance with Program policies, procedures, and compliance requirements., • Review documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness within established guidelines., • Communicate with applicants and stakeholders professionally and clearly., • Maintain accurate program records and documentation., • Learn and use Program-specific software systems efficiently., • Provide case processing with limited supervision, managing more complex or technical cases., • Support day-to-day project management activities such as monitoring, reporting, and specialized advisory services., • Provide applicant consultation services and technical assistance as applicable., • Acquire deeper working knowledge of Program rules and specialized industry knowledge (construction, financial, housing, mitigation, etc.)., • Analyze data, identify issues, and support process improvements. Additional Responsibilities – Case Manager 1 • Perform case processing and applicant support with direct supervision., • Assist with outreach events, applicant inquiries, document management, and customer service tasks., • Support call center operations (all call center staff bill at Case Manager 1 level)., • Learn and apply Program rules and regulations at a foundational level., • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (education + experience combination considered)., • 2+ years of large‐scale project experience in an operational or analyst‐level role., • Experience with CDBG Housing or FEMA Hazard Mitigation preferred., • Ability to work under limited supervision and meet goals, deadlines, and expectations., • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‐solving skills., • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel tables, graphs); ability to learn new software quickly., • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree; combination of education and experience considered., • 2+ years of experience in customer service, call center, or clerical roles., • Experience with CDBG Housing or FEMA Hazard Mitigation preferred., • Ability to work under direct supervision while providing excellent customer service., • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills., • Ability to multitask, manage time, and work independently when directed., • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
