Lab Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for TEE, CV, tilt table tests, ILR procedures, as well as pre- and post-care of patients, including admissions, discharges and transfers. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) Catheterization Lab specializes in cardiac catheter, vascular, neurovascular (stroke) and structural heart procedures, as well as electrophysiology. Procedures performed in the Cath lab include the following: left and right heart catheterizations along with percutaneous intervention as necessary, intracoronary ultrasound, rotational atherectomy, balloon pump insertion, Impella insertion, left atrial appendage closure, catheter-directed thrombolysis for pulmonary embolization, structural procedures (TAVR, Mitra Clip), neurovascular cerebral angiograms, stroke treatment, carotid stenting, treatment of cerebral aneurysms with coiling and pipeline interventions, peripheral and renal angiograms with intervention as necessary, Watchmen, CardioMEMs, and Electrophysiology (cardiac devices, ablations, PVI’s, laser lead extractions).
