Job DescriptionPrimary Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services RepresentativeAlternate/Related Job Titles: • Senior Phlebotomy Technician, • Certified Phlebotomist, • Position Type: Contract, • Contract Duration: 3 months, • Start: As Soon As Possible, • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection according to established procedures., • Verify and document patient identity and labeling to ensure sample integrity., • Maintain accurate records, logs, and required documentation., • Demonstrate superior phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections., • Follow all safety, compliance, and infection-control protocols., • Maintain a safe and professional environment in all assigned locations., • Provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and building patient trust., • Exhibit leadership behaviors and promote process improvement initiatives., • Travel as needed to cover multiple sites with minimal notice., • Ensure adherence to company policies, dress code, and health and safety standards.Required Experience:, • Three years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary)., • Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred., • Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service setting preferred., • Data entry and computer proficiency required.Nice-to-Have Experience:, • Medical assistant or paramedic training., • Experience supporting multiple collection sites or mobile phlebotomy assignments.Required Skills:, • Phlebotomy and specimen collection, • Patient communication and service excellence, • Attention to detail and record accuracyPreferred Skills:, • Data entry and administrative efficiency, • Safety and compliance awareness, • Leadership and multitasking in high-volume settingsAdditional Skills:, • Reliability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for multi-site coverage)Education & Certification:, • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred., • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).Working Conditions:, • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM; every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM., • Environment: Diagnostic patient service center; not eligible for remote work.
