The Role: Housekeeping & Facilities Manager Responsible for the daily shift operations of Housekeeping and facility maintenance. Directs and works with associates to ensure suites, Salon, Member areas and all back of house areas are clean and well maintained. Completes inspections and holds associates accountable while motivating the housekeeping team to continuously improve. Will assist with ensuring the Member and associate experience is immaculate while assisting with maintenance of the operating budget. Partners with the leadership team within operations to report and coordinate care and maintenance issues. Supports the PS vision of creating airport experiences our Members and guests love through maintaining PS standards of expectation. Due to the unique operational needs and scheduling of the airport and the airlines it serves, PS requires all Associates to maintain open availability on the days they are scheduled to work. Start Times for their 8-hour shifts will be altered to meet the schedule of customers' reservations. Responsibilities & Expectations • Train housekeepers on PS standards of cleanliness and condition, • Oversee housekeeping associates daily, conducting inspections of all suites, Salon, Member areas, and back of house, • Verify compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures, • Check suites and common areas, CBP, TSA and lounge areas, for cleanliness and condition, • Schedule the team in accordance with operating hours and needs, • Educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards in accordance with our Mystery Shop guidelines, • Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job, • Conduct inventory counts and place cleaning and supply orders in accordance with the operational budget, • Participate in large cleaning projects as required and develop a project timeline for regular and continued care and maintenance of terminal with the Director of Operations and Managing Director, • Action repair and maintenance issues via vendor coordination and scheduling once projects have been approved, • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas, • Excellent organizational and team management skills, • Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, • Supports and offers recognition of associates who bring PS core values to life in accordance with our recognition program, • Strives to improve and empowers associates to provide excellent customer service, • Participate in regular departmental meetings and Town Halls communicating a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals and expectations to produce desired results. Requirements • At least 2 years work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Manager or similar role within the luxury hospitality industry, • Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations, • Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products, • Excellent organizational and team management skills, • Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job – 80 percent of this role is hands on, • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, • High school diploma or GED required, • PS is a 24-hour facility and as such we require fully open schedule availability and flexibility for all positions within our operations departments, including weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts, • Must pass a pre-employment background check including drug screening and TSA/CBP clearance., • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
