Job Description Primary Function: Responsible for supporting individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities in development of skills needed for greater independent functioning and community integration. Support will be provided to the individuals in the community in social and vocational activities as well as classroom-type settings. Job Description Position Overview: The RTA Shift Supervisor position is designed to provide direct care services but with added authority in the absence of the managers. Job Description The Unaccompanied Children Program provides long term and transitional residential care and other supportive services to Unaccompanied Children (UC) who are under legal custody of the Federal Government. Job Description Summary of Art Teacher-Special Education The Art Teacher provides direct and appropriate individualized instruction based on objectives in art according to the New York Learning Standards and develops social skills while maintaining classroom discipline and safety. The Art Teacher collaborates with a multidisciplinary team that includes teaching assistants, teacher aides, social workers, parents/guardians, residential staff, administration, and other professionals in the education and treatment of each child. The Art Teacher reports student progress by reviewing the IEP on a quarterly basis, completing a daily computer log, participating in quarterly Planning Conferences, and by issuing report cards. The Part-Time Youth and Lifelong Learning Marketing Coordinator supports both the Kids and Teens Programs including the Summer Learning Academy, Summer High School, and After-School Enrichment and the Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR). This role provides comprehensive technological, administrative, and communication support to the Assistant Director of Continuing Education and Workforce Development, ensuring visibility, data accuracy, and smooth delivery across these community programs. The Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the program including data, executing marketing campaigns, maintaining clear communication with families and members, and supporting the smooth delivery of courses, workshops, and events. By combining strong organizational, technical, and creative skills, the Coordinator plays a central role in increasing visibility, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing the student/member experience across CEWD’s community programs.
