JOB SUMMARY: The Events Division Sales Specialist supports Praters, Inc.s Events team by overseeing the administrative, contractual, and financial processes that ensure the seamless execution of live events. This highly detail-oriented role serves as a critical liaison between sales, operations, finance, and external partners. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and adept at managing multiple systems while driving projects forward. This is a local, onsite position based at Praters, Inc.s Rossville, GA location. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide superior internal sales support and external customer support to the Events division across the full event lifecycle by building customer relationships to facilitate long-term sales growth and customer appreciation initiatives., • Assist with job setup, ensure complete and accurate documentation, and facilitate seamless coordination between Event Sales, Operations, and Finance., • Ensure timely execution and proper tracking, retention, and compliance of all Event customer and vendor contracts, including communicating project start dates, setting deadlines, and coordinating invoicing, JSAs, quotations, and POs., • Oversee Event contract statuses and facilitate timely follow-up with internal teams and external partners., • Ensures that all properly signed job scope agreements or purchase orders are received prior to starting jobs or assigning work crews., • Assists the Events division manager and coordinators with a variety of tasks and training., • Ensure Certificates of Insurance (COIs) within the Events division are submitted, reviewed, and compliant with company and client requirements., • Verify that subcontractors are compliant with Praters Ins.s company standards prior to engagement., • Identify discrepancies, missing documentation, or compliance gaps and proactively resolve them., • Manage Events division Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice preparation, processing, tracking, and collections support using QuickBooks and Odoo., • Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency in invoicing, contract execution, and event administration., • Maintain the Smart Sheet/Matrix for Event division projects and communicate real-time changes with schedules or scope of work to all impacted departments and team members., • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of event rental courts with the customer and Praters Logistics Coordinator., • Act as a backup to the portable court, permanent court, and design Sales Specialist., • Promote continuous learning by expanding your job knowledge and fostering ongoing training and personal development. Collaborate with experienced managers and team members across the organization to support training initiatives., • Works with Division Managers and Support Staff to best utilize the resources of Praters to ensure cohesiveness, efficiency, quality, and profitability. Cultivates an environment of unity among all divisions., • Will always conduct themselves as a representative of Praters, Inc. and support Praters, Inc.'s missions and goals., • Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes., • Performs other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: • 2+ years of experience in inside sales support, sales operations, accounting support, or event administration., • Strong working knowledge of invoicing, purchase orders, and AR/AP processes., • Experience with the QuickBooks financial system or equivalent - Required, • Strong organizational skills and an eye for attention to detail., • Exceptional customer service and communication skills with the ability to follow up with customers, providing clear, concise information in writing, via phone, or in person, internally and externally., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment., • Experience supporting live events, rentals, or project-based services - Preferred, • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office applications, and other applications., • Strong knowledge of Mac and or Windows operating systems., • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean MVR BENEFITS OFFERED: • Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Retirement, and Multiple Opportunities to Advance JOIN US TO BE PART OF THE GAME!
