We are seeking an Executive Chef who combines culinary excellence with disciplined leadership, operational intelligence, and the ability to build and inspire elite teams. Pay: $140000 - $150000 / year plus bonus The Role The Executive Chef serves as the culinary and operational leader of CUT New York, responsible for all kitchen operations, talent development, financial performance, and brand execution. This role requires mastery of both craft and business — ensuring every plate reflects the CUT standard while the kitchen runs with precision, efficiency, and accountability. You will partner closely with senior operations, corporate culinary leadership, and the front-of-house team to deliver a consistently exceptional guest experience in a high-volume, high-profile fine-dining environment. What You’ll Lead • Full culinary ownership of CUT New York, including food quality, consistency, and execution, • Hiring, training, and development of a world-class culinary team, • Cost control, inventory management, and P&L performance in alignment with corporate targets, • Menu execution, seasonal updates, and collaboration with Wolfgang Puck corporate culinary leadership, • Enforcement of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards, • Minimum 2 years proven experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury, high-volume fine-dining environment, • At least 6 years of progressive BOH leadership experience in high-end or fine-dining kitchens, • Strong background in steakhouse, seafood, and premium ingredient-driven menus, • A strong combination of hotel + restaurant experience is a plus, • Demonstrated success managing food cost, labor, and kitchen profitability, • A leader who develops talent, builds bench strength, and promotes from within CUT is not just a restaurant — it is one of the most globally recognized culinary brands in the Wolfgang Puck portfolio.
