Job Summary: REV Renewables is seeking a Manager to join our Strategy team. Reporting to the SVP of Strategy, this individual will be involved in all areas of REV’s business, supporting strategic initiatives in market strategy, finance, development, and energy management. We are seeking a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented individual with interest in joining a fast-paced small company. This role will be very dynamic and require frequent interactions with the CEO, CFO, head of development, and head of trading. Initially, core responsibilities will be fundamental modeling and analysis of power and commodity markets. The work product of this effort will be used to drive project development, energy trading, and key corporate decisions. We expect scope and responsibilities to quickly grow to other areas. Importantly, we are seeking an individual comfortable doing both detailed analytics and ‘big picture’ strategic thinking about value creation in our industry and at REV. Duties/Responsibilities: • Own and manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously and independently, • Work collaboratively and dynamically across the organization, • Develop and maintain financial and market models, • Go beyond the apparent conclusions of an analysis by utilizing sensitivities, questioning assumptions, and identifying second-order implications, • Minimum 2 years of power or energy markets experience, • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field, • Deep financial and market modeling capabilities, • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated interest in the renewable energy market, • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel; Python, Tableau, or other skills a plus, • Must be able to sit/stand at a desk, using a computer workstation., • The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk; lift push or pull objects up to 20 pounds., • Must be able to handle long periods of screen time and typing.
