Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day procurement activities and support our global supply operations. The position focuses primarily on purchasing, vendor management, and documentation control, with logistics experience considered a strong plus, but not a core functional requirement. Korean/English bilingual ability is essential due to frequent communication with Korean clients. Key Responsibilities • Manage the end-to-end procurement process: vendor communication, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and order execution., • Negotiate delivery terms and commercial conditions to maximize profitability and secure timely supply., • Prepare, review, and maintain export documents (PO, Invoice, Packing List, BL, etc.)., • Monitor order status and coordinate with logistics partners when needed to ensure smooth shipment flow., • Maintain accurate inventory and order records; reconcile with accounting on AP, AR, and inventory., • Oversee IATA/IMDG certification renewals and ensure compliance for applicable shipments., • Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required., • Must be fully bilingual in Korean and English., • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or international trading; logistics knowledge is preferred but not mandatory., • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed., • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; detail-oriented and highly organized., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently at an assistant-manager level.
