Job Description ORR CLINICIAL SUPERVISOR (LEAD CLINICIAN) (BILINGUAL REQUIRED) JOB SUMMARY/ROLE: The ORR Clinical Supervisor at Rancho San Antonio (RSA) provides oversight, guidance, and support to the clinical team serving Unaccompanied Children (UC). This role requires knowledge and experience in working with individuals, groups, interdisciplinary teams, and community systems both within and outside the agency. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of ORR therapists, ensuring quality clinical services, accurate documentation, effective teamwork, and ongoing professional development. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor ensures effective implementation of RSA’s program statement, policies, and procedures in alignment with State Licensing, Council on Accreditation, ORR, and other applicable regulatory bodies. The supervisor demonstrates a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and integrates RSA’s adopted framework, Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), into all aspects of staff support, clinical practice, and interactions with UC. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor may be required to conduct Assessments, provide clinical interventions, and may be assigned as the primary or temporary/adjunct therapist to clients in ORR as needed and will carry out the accompanying duties of an assigned therapist for the clinical services and other required tasks and responsibilities associated with the therapist responsibilities. SUPERVISED BY: ORR Program Director QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Current California license (LCSW, LMFT, Ph.D/Psy.D.) granted by the State Board of Behavioral Science Examiners and the ability to supervise Mental Health interns. • Minimum of two years of post-master’s experience in a mental health setting, with progressive supervisory and/or administrative experience in behavioral health services. Experience working with Unaccompanied Children (UC), immigrant populations, or severely emotionally disturbed youth in residential or shelter settings strongly preferred., • Knowledge and experience with clinical documentation and electronic health record., • Fluent written and verbal communication in a threshold language is preferred. 5. Must fulfill all requirements of employment, including clearance of all required background records (e.g., Department of Justice, Child Abuse, California Community Care Licensing, County Sanction List, etc.), professional reference checks, physical examination with TB test, vaccinations (or authorized exemptions), and drug screening. • Must have the visual, physical, and technical ability to independently operate a variety of office equipment including the use of a computer., • Keep all sensitive medical and mental health information confidential in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). JOB DUTIES: 1. Apply the trauma-informed framework Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) in interactions and service delivery with Unaccompanied Children (UC)., 2. Provide direct clinical supervision to therapists and interns within the assigned ORR program., 3. Assist in the recruitment and hiring of clinical staff., 4. Lead training and onboarding for new clinical staff and interns, supporting their integration into assigned roles., 5. As needed, cover or coordinate clinical, case management, and group responsibilities during staff absences., 6. Provide consultation and assist in designing individualized treatment plans and interventions for UC from intake through discharge., 7. Observe and participate in day-to-day program operations, including attending groups and treatment team meetings., 8. Deliver training and professional development for clinical staff., 9. Support implementation and compliance with the Interim Final Rule (IFR) standards for preventing, detecting, and responding to sexual abuse and sexual harassment., 10. Collaborate with the ORR Program Director and agency administrators to develop written policies and procedures that ensure a safe, structured, and productive environment in compliance with federal and state regulations., 11. Conduct quality assurance and compliance oversight to ensure staff adherence to program standards., 12. Communicate IFR-related updates and information to the ORR Program Director and clinical team as needed., 13. Partner with RSA’s QA/QI department to oversee compliance issues within the ORR program., 14. Collaborate with the ORR Program Director to provide training on sexual abuse prevention and safety guidelines., 15. Participate in case consultations, crisis interventions, and team-building activities as needed., 16. Review ORR clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, returning for corrections as needed, and ensure timely submission into the Electronic Health Record., 17. Complete employee evaluations in a timely manner., 18. Provide coverage and support for the ORR Program Director and Program Manager as needed., 19. Attend and participate in mandatory trainings and in-services, maintaining required hours as outlined by CCL and ORR., 20. Perform other related duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: All hired staff must (at the minimum) meet the following requirements: 1. Aged at least 21 years., 2. Valid California Driver’s License must be cleared by DMV record check, and proof of auto insurance required. 3. Must fulfill all requirements of employment, including clearance of all required background records (e.g., Department of Justice, Child Abuse, California Community Care Licensing, County Sanction List, etc.), professional reference checks, physical examination with TB test, vaccinations (or authorized exemptions), and drug screening. Must have the visual, physical, and technical ability to independently operate a variety of office equipment including the use of a computer. All agency employees, regardless of position, serve as role models for clients, staff, and members of the community. Therefore, each employee must always be emotionally stable and able to function effectively with children, adolescents and adults who may have mental or behavioral health problems. They must be able to demonstrate, appropriate expression of emotions, as well as appropriate role modeling. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing this job, the incumbent must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds). Will also require bending, stooping, filing, frequent sitting, twisting, typing, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Occasional traveling, driving, walking, standing, grasping, pulling, pushing, and reaching.
