Job Description Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Summit Midstream Corporation (NYSE: SMC) is a value-driven corporation focused on developing, owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets that are strategically located in unconventional resource basins, primarily shale formations, in the continental United States. We currently operate natural gas, crude oil and produced water gathering systems in four unconventional resource basins: • the Williston Basin in North Dakota, which includes the Bakken and Three Forks shale formations;, • the Denver-Julesburg Basin, which includes the Niobrara and Codell shale formations in Colorado and Wyoming;, • the Fort Worth Basin in Texas, which includes the Barnett Shale formation; and, • the Polar & Divide system, which serves the Williston Basin;, • the DFW Midstream system, which serves the Fort Worth Basin;, • the Grand River system, which serves the Piceance Basin; and We generate a substantial majority of our revenue under primarily long-term and fee-based gathering agreements with our customers. The majority of our gathering agreements are underpinned by areas of mutual interest (“AMIs”) and minimum volume commitments (“MVCs”). Our AMIs provide that any production drilled by our customers within the AMIs will be shipped on our gathering systems. The MVCs are designed to ensure that we will generate a minimum amount of gathering revenue over the life of each respective gathering agreement. The fee-based nature of the majority of the gathering agreements enhances the stability of our cash flows and limits our direct commodity price exposure. Since our formation in 2009, our management team has established a track record of executing this strategy through the acquisition and subsequent development of DFW Midstream, Grand River, Polar & Divide, Niobrara G&P, and Double E Pipeline. Basic Accountability The Senior Measurement Analyst has the primary focus of this role is management and reporting of meter accuracy and efficiency with the utilization of the FlowCal measurement application systems. To provide support and guidance to measurement analyst staff surrounding activities related to the measurement processes within the Summit Midstream system. Job Responsibilities • The primary focus of this role is management and reporting of meter accuracy and efficiency with the utilization of the FlowCal application., • The selected candidate will apply sound knowledge and technical skills in evaluating and managing data within the FlowCal database for gas and liquids., • The role will require close interfaces with measurement technicians, measurement supervisors, and field technicians to help to optimize the quality and accuracy of metered data., • This position will also require working with various support teams to ensure efficient delivery of requested information., • This position will have daily/monthly analyst responsibilities and will also assist the Supervisor with other ongoing special projects (~10-20% of the time)., • Carry out analysis and investigation of gain/loss variances on physical pipeline balances and work with Operations and Measurement Teams to resolve., • Ensure that balances are correctly setup in FlowCal for all products for daily and monthly review, • Ensure that all gas analysis information is accurately applied and validated within the FlowCal system., • Evaluate meter proving, meter calibration, and liquid and gas analyses to ensure data quality and conformance with contractual and regulatory obligations., • Run FlowCal exception resolver daily and work to resolve identified exceptions., • This includes at a minimum DP, temperature, flow, density, missing data, beta ratio, and calibration discrepancy reports., • Provide guidance to the team on measurement issues concerning pipeline customers, accounting, and other third parties., • Oversee data tracking and analysis of measurement data such as equipment, meter characteristics, gas and liquid quality, etc., • Review and edit hourly and/or daily gas and liquid volume data from meters to identify and correct erroneous, invalid, and questionable data, thus assuring that measurement data sent to customers and accounting department is accurate., • Responsible for daily editing of all gas and liquid production volumes that cannot be recovered by using 3rd party customer data, historical data, or flow patterns., • Provide clear, concise, and timely communication on measurement and product validation activities., • Assist with measurement system enhancement projects, system testing and documentation., • Troubleshoot measurement deficiencies with supervisor, field personnel, and accounting groups, • Capable of creating or maintaining reports to assist in optimizing daily task Reviews and uses gas and liquid analysis results., • Serves as contact person at Custody Transfer points and Sales points., • Assigns new meter numbers and sets up new meters in FlowCal for assigned areas., • Assist with consulting with IT on Flow-Cal issues and tests new upgrades to systems., • Assists management to establish software options and settings., • Participates in corporate meetings and cross/function team meetings., • Develop and provide training and/or presentations as needed., • Become an in-house expert for audit analysis applications and current technologies in the audit analytics field., • Continuously improve the audit analytics practice by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and standardize documentation., • Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written) a must., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Capable of multi-tasking numerous projects and working within deadlines., • Demonstrates leadership and ability to work independently with minimal guidance., • Extensive knowledge of IT general controls and business application controls., • Advanced level computer skills required for job (Microsoft products)., • Maintains Integrity, ethics and trust values., • Must be able to consistently demonstrate a positive attitude toward work assignments and team members (team player)., • Customer/Stakeholder Focus - Makes customer and stakeholder needs a primary focus of one’s actions;
