Job Description Job Summary The Licensed Clinical Therapist provides cognitive behavioral modification therapy in a range of services including but not limited to traumatic brain injury, depression and anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, adjustments to life and life-changing events, the recovery process, ADD/ADHD behaviors in children and adults, and counseling for children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. All services are provided in accordance with professional ethics. General Accountabilities • Conducts comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health concerns, including their history, symptoms, and treatment goals, • Provides therapeutic counseling to assist individuals in gaining insight into personal challenges, define goals, and develop a plan of action that reflects interests, abilities, and needs, • Collaborate with other treatment team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients, • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatment sessions, assessments, and progress notes by professional standards and regulatory requirements, • Responsible for carrying a clinical caseload, either online via a secured HIPPA-compliant telehealth platform or face-to-face while maintaining the required productivity level as detailed by the Clinical Director, • Consults external providers concerning treatment plans and coordination of care, as required • Maintains regular contact with the client’s care team and professionals through phone calls, emails, and reporting (as agreed upon) regarding client progress, • Refers clients to supportive services to supplement treatment and counseling as needed, • Submits timely documentation as instructed by Clinical Director, • Establishes a relationship with each client's case manager and/or team members., • Attends team meetings when possible or as requested, • Attends all scheduled staff meetings and completes required training, • Participate in regular supervision and continuing education opportunities to support professional growth and development, • Submits a calendar of scheduled clients each week, • Stay informed about developments in the field of mental health treatment, including new research findings and therapeutic approaches, and integrate this knowledge into clinical practice, • Attends the Brain Injury Association of Michigan annual conference *, • Follows and demonstrates company guiding principles Note: The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time Job Qualifications • MUST HAVE a master's degree in the field of psychology, counseling, or social work, • 3-5 years work-related experience, • Valid state professional license, • Clinical expertise in crisis intervention, skilled in working with individuals with varying severity of emotional, mental, and/or physical disabilities.
