Job Description Description Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing operations tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain. Key Responsibilities • Perform assigned food grain operations tasks including but not limited to general facility upkeep, sampling for quality, and packaging, • Ability to document numbers in a computer after loading /unloading grain pallets, • Lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly, • Maintain a good working knowledge and adherence to all food safety policies and procedures, • Perform all tasks in a fashion that promotes the safety and quality of our products, • Actively participate in all required food safety and quality related meetings and training events, • Identify and report all food safety and quality issues to management immediately What is expected of you and others at this level • Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience, • Works within established procedures, • Completes work with a moderate degree of supervision 1st shift: 8am - 4:30pm Tuesday - Saturday Skills Packaging, Production, Inventory, Packing, Shipping and receiving, Assembly, Picking, Warehouse shipping, Loading, Material handling Top Skills Details Packaging, Production, Inventory, Packing, Shipping and Receiving Additional Skills & Qualifications MUST HAVES: 1. Candidates must have at least 1 year of warehousing experience. a. Candidates must have experience with packaging, storage/inventory, shipping, and receiving. 2. Candidates must be comfortable lifting 75 lbs +., 3. Candidates must be comfortable with heights. Nice to haves: -Forklift, bobcat, heavy equipment operation Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
