Our diverse range of services includes: • Mental health support: Offering counseling and therapeutic services to address emotional and psychological well-being., • Addiction counseling: Providing personalized strategies and support for overcoming addiction and sustaining sobriety., • Physical wellness activities: Incorporating fitness classes and activities to enhance physical health and vitality., • Nutrition education: Showcasing the benefits of plant-based nutrition and offering guidance on maintaining a balanced and healthy diet. Therapist/Counselor at Racing for Recovery Job Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines., • Conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment using interviews, observation of participants, gather information from collateral sources, and testing., • Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, staff-in services, and ongoing training., • Development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and complete necessary updates as required., • Advocate for clients’ needs and rights within the legal and healthcare systems., • 401k, • Medical, HSA, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, • PTO up to 120 days, • Employee Assistance Program opportunitiesRequirements:, • LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC-CS, LICDC-S in Ohio and maintain all required hours for license renewal., • CARF accreditation experience preferred., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, • Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to helping individuals on their path to recovery., • Knowledge of substance abuse treatment and counseling techniques, • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement., • Knowledge, understanding, and implementation of ASAM level of care., • Proven experience in providing mental health counseling and therapy services., • Strong knowledge of medical documentation and record keeping practices, • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
