Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Opportunity for advancement The Fabricator is a high energy, solutions-oriented builder of custom signs and displays. This position requires the individual to use a variety of fabrication techniques including (but not limited to) cutting, bending, welding, adhering materials to one another using an assortment of bonds and preparing the materials for the Paint department. All of our work is schedule driven; the ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and be able to manage time and multiple priorities effectively while working in a highly collaborative environment. The ability to find solutions through positive attitude, taking direction and flexibility is essential. Stellar capacity to focus on the task at hand and a demonstrated ability to mentor/work with others effectively will also be required. Requirements (Gotta have it): • Skillset with basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders, and saws in a safe manner, • Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings and comprehend instructions, • Ability to read a tape measure, down to the 1/16", • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions, • Work under tight deadlines, • Strong attention to detail, • High levels of Intelligence, creativity, attention to detail and problem-solving ability with good judgement, • Knowledge of building, installation and mechanical processes, • Lifting, carrying, and moving materials up to 50 pounds as needed., • Superb communication skills; both written and verbal, • Collaborative mindsetNot required, but preferred (Even better to have it!):, • Metal Fabrication/Welding experience of steel and aluminum, • Sense of humor, • Signage experience (if not, we'll train!), • An occasional doughnut or team lunchSchedule:, • Monday to Friday, • 8 hour shiftFull time work with hourly pay.
