Job Description CMI Group - Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing Quality Inspector Location Options: South Phoenix - 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 North Phoenix - 2688 E Rose Garden Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85050 Tempe - 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281 Shift Options: South Phoenix - Day or Night Shift w/20% Differential pay North Phoenix - Night Shift w/20% Differential pay Tempe - Day shift Requirements: • First Article inspection, • AS9102 standards, • GD&T / Proficient at advanced mechanical inspection, • AS9102, • Data input skills, • Excel, • ERPNET Inspect Requirements: • Vocational training or coursework in manufacturing, blueprint reading, or quality control is a plus, • On-the-job training provided, • Ability to sit for extended periods, • Walking, bending, squatting, reaching, • Regular use of hands, wrists, and fingers to handle small tools, deburring instruments, and precision components, • Ability to grip, hold, and manipulate parts using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for extended periods, • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds regularly; occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs may be required, • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, • Must tolerate exposure to machining dust, oils, and moderate noise levels in a manufacturing environment Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
