ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. • Specialty: CVOR, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 09/30/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Open Heart Surgery. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in scrubbing open heart cases and be able to work within a fast-paced and challenging environment. * Scrub and circulate open heart cases including CABG, mitral, tricuspid, and aortic valve procedures. * Assist with a variety of surgical procedures such as aortic dissections, pericardial windows, and chest cases like thoracotomies and VATS. * Manage ECMO and assist with LVAD and Impella procedures. * Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and protocols regarding patient care. * Maintain a 30-minute call response time as required. * Current RN license in hand. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in open heart surgery. * Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory. * ACLS and BLS certifications are required. * Experience with robotic procedures in chest cases is preferred. * Must have the ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam. * Previous charge experience is a plus. * 4x10 Hour Shift: Days (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) * Call required with a non-negotiable 30-minute response time. * Full compliance file must be submitted by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date. * Education verification through a third party is required. * Background check with no open cases is mandatory.
