This role supports Chick-fil-A restaurants exclusively, combining autonomy in the field with the training, tools, and operational muscle of Colliers. What you’ll take on • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipment., • Service hot-side cooking equipment, sealed-system refrigeration, specialty foodservice gear, and base-building HVAC systems., • Meet service level agreements while responding to Operator requests across your local market., • Work on brands such as Henny Penny, Follett, Lennox (HVAC), Traulsen, Hobart mixers, Champion dishwashers, and Garland Grill., • Collaborate with manufacturers for diagnostic insight and parts identification; consult the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team while onsite., • Install ordered parts accurately and professionally; verify operation to performance standards., • Document work orders, time, receipts, and truck stock promptly and precisely., • Keep your service vehicle organized and stocked; maintain tools and parts inventory., • Support periodic on-call emergency response during non-standard hours., • Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures at all times., • Participate in continuous OEM training and certification programs; engage suppliers and partners within the service network., • Maintain productivity in line with company standards. What you bring, • Technical trade school training and/or substantial hands-on experience., • 5+ years of relevant trade experience (or equivalent)., • Expertise in one or more of: sealed refrigeration/HVAC systems, electrical, mechanical, process controls, hot-side cooking equipment, or mechanical power transmission., • Background servicing kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systems., • EPA Universal Certification., • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and an MVR that supports safe operation of company vehicles., • Ability to read diagrams/schematics and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service applications., • Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic mindset, and clear communication skills., • Self-starter who works independently with a positive, service-first approach. Travel and schedule, • 100% travel within a defined local market., • Limited overnight travel, primarily for onboarding and training. Physical work environment, • Work extended periods during emergency or priority situations (including overtime)., • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds., • Climb ladders and stairs up to two stories (ladder safety training provided; roof access ladders onsite; van transport of large ladders is atypical)., • Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling., • Extended standing and walking on even and uneven surfaces., • Frequent use of arms, wrists, and hands to operate tools and machinery., • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
