Job Description MUST have a certification as a Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Our client in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join its Core Lab team. Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift Key Responsibilities • Perform and monitor a wide range of laboratory tests aligned with department standards and regulatory guidelines, • Accurately report test results in a timely manner, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment, • Conduct instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting independently, • Follow strict quality control, safety, and infection prevention procedures, • Maintain adequate lab inventory and manage supplies efficiently, • Foster strong communication with lab peers, clinical teams, and external partners, • Support education and training of new team members and students Minimum Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field; or 4+ years of qualifying lab experience, • Experience: At least 2 years of Core Lab experience in a high-volume clinical setting strongly preferred, • Certification: Must hold a valid certification from at least one of the following:, • American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), • American Medical Technologists (AMT), • American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB), • American Board of Histocompatibility (ABHI), • Grandfathered HEW licensee also accepted, • Additional accepted credentials: CLS, MT, MLS, SCT, SCYM, SMB, CHS-ABHI, CHT-ABHI, • Solid understanding of clinical lab protocols, equipment, and information systems, • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in team environments Compensation & Benefits • Schedule: Full-time day shift, • Health & Wellness: Eligibility for full benefits starting Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, • Retirement: 401(k) plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, • Education: Access to no-cost and low-cost degree and certification programs through debt-free tuition assistance, • Time Off: Immediate accrual of PTO, plus paid holidays and sick leave Apply Today If you’re a dedicated, certified Medical Laboratory Scientist looking for a full-time day shift role where your work is valued and your career can grow, apply now.
