Job Description We are seeking an EOF Academic Coach for the Academic Resource Center. This position reports to the Assistant Director of EOF. The EOF Academic Coach works with students to improve their academic skills, reading/writing or math problem-solving strategies, study skills, and self-management skills, such as time management skills. This is a part-time, hourly position. Example of Duties: Among the essential duties of this position are the following: • Conducts one-on-one coaching sessions with students., • Conducts group workshops and academic coaching with students in a group setting., • Conducts tutoring sessions., • Associate degree required, Bachelors preferred in, English, Mathematics, Education, Psychology, or related field., • Experience in a higher education setting working with students in person and virtually., • Good written and verbal communication skills. Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $19. Benefits: • New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
