Lead Technician / Foreman – Large-Scale Infrastructure ProjectsReady to run the show on a 2-million-square-foot canvas? We’re looking for a seasoned Low-Voltage Foreman to lead data and fiber crews through massive warehouse and distribution center builds. If you’re a master of MDF/IDF buildouts who thrives on 60-foot lifts and high-productivity environments, this is your next big project. Key Responsibilities May Include: • Lead and support data and low-voltage cabling crews on large warehouse and distribution center projects (500k–2M+ sq ft), • Remain hands-on with Cat6 and fiber installations while overseeing quality and productivity, • Install and oversee paging, wireless/AP cabling, CCTV, and access control cabling, • Plan daily manpower, work sequencing, and production goals, • Read prints, plan cable pathways, and manage MDF/IDF buildouts, • Operate boom and scissor lifts (40–60 ft work), • Attend construction meetings and coordinate with other trades, • Complete daily and weekly progress updates and project spreadsheets, • Track, manage, and maintain project materials and onsite inventory, • Communicate status, risks, labor needs, and material requirements to Project Managers, • Enforce all safety, quality, and schedule requirementsQualifications:, • 5+ years of low-voltage or data cabling experience, • Prior Foreman or Lead Technician experience, • Strong Cat6 and single-mode/multi-mode fiber termination and testing knowledge, • Experience leading crews of 4–20 technicians, • Experience with paging, wireless, CCTV, and access control cabling, • Comfortable working at height and in large warehouse environments, • Proficient with smartphones, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office tools, • Strong communication skills with Technicians and Project Managers, • Basic telecommunications tools, PPE, and reliable transportation, • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, • Willingness to travel extensively and work 50–60 hour weeksWhy Wachter?, • Full-time work, • Competitive Compensation based on experience, • Paid weekly, • Per-Diem paid when overnight travel is required, • Company vehicle provided, in some cases, after initial 2-4 weeks of employment, • Drive time and mileage paid for use of personal vehicle when travel is required, • Paid Vacation and Holidays, • Opportunities for certification and career advancement, • Supportive team environmentBenefits Package - Company Paid!, • Medical, Dental, Prescription & Vision Benefits, • Life, AD&D, and LTD insurance, • Paid Vacation and Holidays
