About the job: We are seeking a Marketing Platform Engineer with 5+ years of experience in marketing technology, platform engineering, or data‑integrated systems roles. This role focuses on the technical implementation, integration, and long-term ownership of a modern marketing automation platform such as Braze or Bloomreach. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in event‑based data models, SDK instrumentation, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, data, and engineering teams. What you will do at Sogeti: • Lead technical onboarding, configuration, and integration of a modern marketing orchestration platform (e.g., Braze, Bloomreach)., • Own platform reliability, performance, scalability, and vendor technical relationships., • Design, maintain, and govern customer event schemas, identity attributes, and behavioral data used for activation., • Integrate real-time and batch data via APIs, SDKs, CDPs, and data warehouse solutions., • Implement, support, and troubleshoot SDK-based integrations (iOS/Android/web) for customer data capture, messaging, and personalization., • Enable and support complex, multi-channel customer journeys across email, SMS, push, and web personalization channels., • Establish QA, governance, preview/validation processes, and monitor data flows, latency, and integration health. What you will bring: • 5+ years of experience in marketing technology, lifecycle platforms, or data-integrated systems., • Hands-on experience implementing or owning platforms such as Braze, Bloomreach, Iterable, or similar., • Strong understanding of event-based data models, customer identity resolution, and event pipelines., • Experience collaborating across marketing, engineering, and data teams to translate business needs into scalable technical configurations., • Technical proficiency with SDK instrumentation, APIs, SQL, and Python for debugging, scripting, or integrations. Nice to Have: • Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-region marketing organizations., • Familiarity with mobile SDK integration (iOS / Android)., • Understanding of deliverability, compliance, and consent management frameworks., • Experience participating in platform migrations or greenfield marketing tech builds. Education: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $115,000 - $160,000. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.
