Job Description You in This Role You’re a detail-obsessed, tech-savvy problem solver who thrives on keeping an online store running like a well-oiled machine. You understand Shopify inside and out, from product listings and collections to third-party app integrations. You take pride in making the customer’s online experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. You’re equally comfortable diving into HTML/CSS tweaks, organizing hundreds of SKUs, and optimizing for SEO. You’ll own the operations and functionality of the Rotor Riot e-commerce store and connected sales channels, ensuring customers can easily find, explore, and purchase our products without a hitch. A Day in the Life • Start the day by reviewing the site dashboard, ensuring all page’s load correctly, products display accurately, and no broken links or errors are present., • Add new products, complete with descriptions, specs, images, SEO tags, and category placement, so they’re ready to go live., • Update the homepage banner and featured collections for current promotions, product launches, or timely events (yes, even hurricanes)., • Monitor and adjust collections, navigation rules, and filters to keep the customer journey seamless., • Configure and test Shopify apps, such as integrations with Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce, and other connected platforms., • Review store analytics, checking SEO performance and customer return rates, and flagging opportunities for improvement., • Work closely with the US-based marketing and operations teams to ensure store readiness for launches and promotions. What You’ll Do • Own and maintain all technical aspects of the Rotor Riot Shopify storefront., • Curate and refresh the homepage, collections, and navigation to enhance user experience., • Manage product listings, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, metadata, images, pricing, and availability., • Oversee third-party app configurations (e.g., Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce, YouTube Shopping)., • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting store functionality or conversion., • Monitor analytics to track store performance and identify opportunities to increase sales and returning customer rates. What You Bring • 3+ years of experience managing a Shopify-based e-commerce store., • Proficiency with Shopify admin tools, theme customization, and third-party app integrations., • Light web programming skills (HTML, CSS)., • Experience creating and managing product listings and collections., • Knowledge of SEO principles for e-commerce., • Experience or passion for FPV drones or hobbyist electronics., • Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, Report Pundit, and advanced Shopify analytics., • Understanding of shipping configurations and logistics within Shopify.
