Job Description Position Overview Securify seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Lead to take full ownership of warehouse logistics and material flow management. This is the sole warehouse position, responsible for performing all hands-on activities related to receiving, tracking, staging, and dispatching project-specific materials. This position plays a key role in Securify’s transition to a just-in-time (JIT) procurement model, reducing stored inventory and moving toward a lean, project-based supply chain. The Warehouse Operations Lead will coordinate closely with the Order Processing Manager to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely handling of materials for each project while maintaining visibility in D-Tools Cloud to track and control procurement tied to individual job requirements. Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily warehouse functions, including receiving shipments, verifying deliveries, scanning items into inventory, staging materials, and coordinating outbound dispatch for project-based orders., • Leverage D-Tools Cloud’s inventory and procurement modules to track, allocate, and receive materials exclusively against open project orders. Use real-time tools for barcode or QR scanning, project-specific allocation, and job-based staging, supporting just-in-time purchasing and eliminating bulk stock maintenance., • Implement lean warehousing practices by managing inbound logistics, returns processing, and limited stock rotations based solely on active project needs., • Conduct cycle counts to ensure material accuracy and reconcile discrepancies immediately to maintain transparency in procurement and tracking., • Maintain compliance with Cal/OSHA safety standards and ensure all warehouse activities follow defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)., • Support the Order Processing Manager by handling receiving documentation, verifying order accuracy, and placing materials in designated bin locations or staging areas for rapid deployment to projects., • Optimize warehouse layout and flow for temporary storage, staging efficiency, and minimal in-house material dwell time., • Produce tracking and performance metrics for material flow, fulfillment accuracy, and project readiness., • Provide cross-departmental coordination to ensure all materials and equipment needed for project deployment are available and prepared on schedule., • Perform local vendor pickups and project deliveries, maintaining accurate recordkeeping for incoming and outgoing material (reliable personal transportation required)., • Recommend process improvements, including workflow automation, system integration, and digital optimization using D-Tools and related tools. Qualifications and Requirements • Proven experience in warehouse logistics, distribution coordination, or project-based materials management, preferably in a just-in-time environment., • Working knowledge of inventory management and project tracking systems, with familiarity in using D-Tools Cloud or comparable procurement software for order management and cost allocation., • Strong understanding of supply chain efficiency, lean principles, and job-cost control in project-driven operations., • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to maintain cross-departmental collaboration., • Reliable personal transportation for vendor or client deliveries as required., • Capacity to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds repeatedly, including loading and unloading cartons, tools, and assemblies., • Stand, walk, and navigate warehouse and staging areas throughout the workday while performing operational tasks., • Regularly bend, kneel, or reach overhead when accessing shelves, pallets, and equipment., • Safely operate manual handling tools and basic equipment, such as pallet jacks, ladders, and carts, in accordance with established safety guidelines., • Perform tasks safely in an environment that may vary in temperature, light, dust, and noise levels while maintaining focus on efficiency and accuracy., • Adhere to ergonomic handling methods, PPE requirements, and immediate reporting of safety hazards.
