Job DescriptionLow Voltage Technician – Build the Backbone of Modern Connectivity Step into a career where your technical skills keep entire systems running. As a Low Voltage Technician, you’ll play a hands‑on role in installing and maintaining the cabling that powers today’s networks—data centers, communications systems, security infrastructure, and more. If you’re motivated, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow into advanced technician roles, this position offers a strong pathway forward. What You’ll Do • Pull, route, and install CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling., • Support higher technicians with day‑to‑day project tasks and complex installs., • Run, organize, and stage materials for new builds and retrofits., • Use hand tools and power tools with accuracy and safety., • Climb ladders and work at various heights with confidence., • Terminate fiber, test copper cables, and verify connectivity., • Install ladder racks, j‑hooks, cable trays, and structured cable pathways., • Assemble racks, install conduit, and support infrastructure builds., • Operate scissor lifts and other related equipment., • Stay compliant with OSHA standards and jobsite safety expectations.What You Bring, • 1+ year of experience in telecom, low voltage, or cable installation (preferred)., • Strength to lift up to 75 lbs as needed., • A valid driver’s license., • Solid skills with common hand and power tools., • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documents., • Understanding of standard communications color codes., • OSHA certification and lift certification (or willingness to obtain).Bonus Skills That Get You Noticed, • Experience with structured cabling or building cable pathways., • Comfort working in warm environments or active construction zones., • Tech III & Tech IV positions, • Telecom, • Security systems Here’s what to expect: • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, • Optional Saturday shifts: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, • Hot conditions inside the facility (no AC installed yet), • Required PPE: steel‑toe boots, safety glasses, safety vest, gloves (all PPE provided) Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
