Job Description Summary: Organize and pack groceries for people seeking emergency food. Facilitate the smooth operation of the process of acquiring food, in an efficient, thoughtful and timely manner. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: • Prior warehousing experience helpful., • Previous experience working with culturally diverse populations., • Ability to work with other diverse populations (e.g., mentally ill, chemically dependent)., • Strong organizational skills, • Preferred knowledge of food safety regulations. Physical Requirement: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. during a full workday, • Ability to load and unload vehicles/trucks with up to 50 lb. boxes throughout the day, • Ability to use 2-wheelers, dollies and other non-electric moving equipment, • Bending, stooping, carrying required.
