Job DescriptionJob Title: Customs Entry Writer - Remote job opportunity Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer to manage the full A–Z customs entry process, with a strong focus on food imports. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Partner Government Agency (PGA) requirements—particularly FDA regulations—and demonstrate accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the customs clearance process. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare, review, and file complete A–Z customs entries from file opening through final cargo delivery, • Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and all applicable PGA requirements, with an emphasis on FDA filings, • Process remote entries accurately and efficiently, • Coordinate with clients, customs officials, carriers, and internal teams to resolve clearance issues, • Maintain detailed and accurate electronic records using a paperless processing system, • Utilize AS400 and proprietary customs software to manage entries and documentation, • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to classification, valuation, admissibility, and documentationQualifications & Experience:, • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an A–Z Customs Entry Writer, • Proven experience handling food imports and FDA-related filings, • Strong knowledge of PGA filing requirements, • Experience with remote entry filing, • Familiarity with paperless processing systems, • Customs Broker License or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation preferred but not required, • High school diploma or GED required; college degree not requiredWork Schedule:, • Full-time and fully remote position, • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPreferred Skills:, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to manage multiple entries in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills#SEAWAPandoLogic.
