The Opportunity: We have an immediate opening for a regular full-time Information Technology (IT) Leader to work a hybrid remote schedule based out of our downtown Tempe, AZ office. This role will play an important part in our innovation-focused firm, while helping guide an emerging team and providing an opportunity for continued leadership development. Your Key Responsibilities: • Develop and oversee the firms IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cybersecurity, storage and backup devices, data centers, and phone systems., • Oversee maintenance of all aspects of the firms IT infrastructure, including performing and coordinating routine maintenance and repair on computer systems and installing and testing software upgrades, new technology equipment, and all changes to existing technology., • Manages hardware, software, and software license inventories and compliance with software licensing requirements., • Researches and evaluates new technologies, systems, hardware, software, equipment, and associated costs, and recommends improvements to firm systems as needed., • Participates in IT policy and procedure development, documentation, implementation, and associated training presentations to staff., • Supervises and mentors the technical and professional development of an emerging team of 1-3 IT staff members., • Manages special projects including CMMC certification., • Works with business line leads and project leads to implement innovative technology. What Youll Bring: • 10+ years of IT service/management experience, preferably overseeing (or with exposure to) a small/mid-sized organizations full IT infrastructure., • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience preferred., • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365 and other Microsoft Products (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)., • Experience and strong knowledge of Cato, Sophos Firewall, VMWare, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Kase ticketing system., • Strong knowledge of VPN, SAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and Terminal Server., • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills., • Leadership maturity and dedication to alignment with firm values., • Strong discretion when handling confidential information., • Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to evolving changes in priorities. Preferred Qualifications: • Technology certificates a plus., • Experience developing and executing a multi-year IT strategic roadmap aligned with business growth and organizational objectives., • Experience leading cybersecurity governance and compliance initiatives (e.g., CMMC, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST), including audit oversight and risk management., • Experience managing IT budgets, capital planning, and enterprise vendor negotiations across a multi-office environment., • Experience presenting technology strategy, risk posture, and major initiatives to executive leadership shareholders., • Experience building, mentoring, and scaling IT teams, including implementing structured performance management and succession planning., • Experience leading enterprise-wide modernization efforts such as cloud migration, digital transformation, automation, or AI governance initiatives., • Experience designing and overseeing formal Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and incident response programs.
