Engineering with Purpose. Solutions That Stand Strong. The Engineered Solutions Specialist is responsible for maximizing the specification and sales of designed engineered solutions and calculation services through identification of target applications, creation of designed solutions, provision of bid packages to all bidding contractors, convincing of winning bidder to use and purchase our solution and ensuring full delivery of the products and services agreed to on the purchase order. Develops and executes a unique bid strategy for each target project, with the goal to sell the relevant bid package to the responsible contractor. Position is primarily focused on delivering modular solutions and services to our top customers and projects centric to our installation systems product line. What You'll do • Regularly scans project databases and makes assessment of most attractive projects to target, based on multiple criteria including, but not limited to, key applications, and assessment of the competitive market situation, the key contractors in the bid process, and their capabilities. Prioritizes target projects through managed, constantly evolving project funnel, • Specifies creation of engineered solutions for overhead grid, raised floor, pipe/cable tray supports, seismic bracing solutions, and E&I stands, • Provides practical check on engineered solution as it relates to project environment and application as well as market competitiveness. Applies technical expertise to designs as needed, • Support the delivery of engineering designs for our BIM services. Attend project coordination meetings and support BIM PM with client technical questions, • Builds relationships with bidding contractors by creating, submitting, and participating actively in, bid packages during pre-design and design phases. Represents Hilti at pre-bid meetings and promotes Hilti as engineered solution provider, • Sells low bidder (winner) on engineered solution's value add, overcomes objections, closes, and supports with submittal for inclusion in project design. Cross sells other related Hilti products, • Coaches Account Managers (AM's) in coverage area to improve competence of key project types, applications, and products (Install, Anchor, DX) and their ability to answer basic technical questions, • Works directly with PMO to collect proper information and relay questions and change requests between PMO and customer. Supports the interface with 3rd party engineering and design partner. Job Description AVECCC - Gilbert, AZ Veterinary Technician Supervisor AVECCC (Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center) is a 24‐hour veterinary emergency and critical care and specialty center in Gilbert, AZ. We have the most skilled doctors in the state and provide significantly complex treatments in the western US. Duties & Responsibilities: Training – In collaboration of the Lead Training Coordinator, assists in the development of training protocols and procedures to ensure existing technical staff as well as new staff members are onboarded efficiently and effectively ● Interview potential new technicians and technician assistant candidates ● Technician and technician assistant staff leveling and reviews • Review leveling criteria and benchmarks for employee advancement per hospital protocol, • Acts a mentor for technical staff with particular focus on Technician Leads, • Ensure appropriate medical techniques are being utilized ● Follow up on coaching to ensure it is being implemented. ● Document training and coaching sessions. Communication – act as the bridge between the leadership team and technical staff to maintain open channels of communication and constructive dialogue ● Schedule, plan, and conduct bi-weekly Technician Lead meetings • Advanced agenda of meetings provided to leadership team ● Participate in regular team meetings with Leadership Team to: • Identify areas for improvement within the company, • Ensure consistent messages are being disseminated to employees, • Increase knowledge of supervisory and leadership skills, • Lab – meets regularly with Lab Officer to ensure equipment is properly maintained and there is always an adequate quantity of supplies, • Radiology – collaborate with Radiology Officer to ensure that radiation safety protocols are enforced and radiology badges are properly managed, • Equipment – collaborate with Equipment Manager to ensure: ▪ Train staff to properly clean and wrap surgical packs ▪ Ensure surgical suite is properly stocked, cleaned, and maintained at all times o Isolation ▪ Kept clean and stocked ▪ Collaborate with Equipment Manager to ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and functioning Engagement – act as a leader to improve staff retention and foster a culture of growth and development ● Identify and solicit opportunities for growth within the technical staff ● Identify areas of personal strength and weakness that may enhance or hinder job performance ● Actively seek out staff members who may be disengaged and intervene as necessary to improve staff retention ● Use engagement survey results to assess and implement adjustments as necessary ● Fully competent regarding organizational policies and procedures • Discourages negative attitudes, gossip ● Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending CEs, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal and professional networks, etc ● Acts in a solution-oriented manner to advocate and improve any deficiencies in the hospital.
