We are a drive-thru safari and walk-thru adventure zoo park spanning over 250 acres located in Bryan, Texas at 18075 FM 974. This position reports to the Zoo Director and Animal Care Supervisor, and it involves primarily working in two different roles at the park; "Pasture Management" in our Drive-Thru Safari and "Maintenance" across the whole facility. Pasture managers are responsible for upkeeping pastures within the drive-thru safari. Primary duties include performing daily animal care tasks such as providing water, feed, & hay, monitoring animals/herds and fencing/structures, reporting herd health concerns, and monitoring guests in the drive-thru safari. Maintenance technicians perform daily maintenance and repair tasks across the zoo property involving vehicles, equipment, buildings, animal enclosures/habitats, fences, etc. Applicants should feel comfortable around animals, as you will be required to work near animals for many aspects of the job.
