Job Title: Senior Sales Manager- Utility-Scale Photovoltaic Sales (Iberia) Spain or Portugal (Remote / Hybrid) My client is a global leader in high-efficiency photovoltaic technology, dedicated to driving the transition to a carbon-free future. Having pioneered world-record cell and module efficiency, they set the benchmark for performance, reliability, and long-term value. Their cutting-edge technology is deployed in utility-scale projects across the globe, supported by a steadfast commitment to ESG and sustainable growth. As they accelerate their expansion in Southern Europe, they are seeking a Senior Executive leader to head their commercial efforts in the Iberian market. This is a high-impact, senior leadership role for an established executive to take ownership of the Iberian utility-scale strategy. You will be responsible for driving commercial growth for projects 5MW, leveraging deep industry relationships and a sophisticated understanding of the region’s energy landscape. You will act as a trusted advisor to top-tier developers, IPPs, EPCs, and utilities, positioning our industry-leading technology as the solution of choice for large-scale solar assets. Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the comprehensive sales and business development strategy for the Spanish and Portuguese utility-scale markets. Cultivate and manage relationships at the C-suite and executive level with key stakeholders, including large-scale developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, investment funds, and utilities. Project Monetization: Identify, structure, negotiate, and close complex, multi-MW solar project opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from origination to contract finalization. Leverage your executive experience to analyze market trends, policy and regulatory shifts, and competitor activity to provide strategic insights that shape product positioning and corporate direction. Technical Advocacy: Act as a subject matter expert, articulating the technical and commercial advantages of our technology - such as power density, LCOE optimization, and shading performance - to sophisticated technical and financial audiences. Brand Representation: Represent the company at high-level industry conferences, regulatory meetings, and networking forums across Iberia, reinforcing our position as a market leader. A proven track record as a senior leader with extensive executive-level experience within the utility-scale solar market in Spain and/or Portugal. Established Network: An exceptional, well-connected network spanning the entire Iberian energy ecosystem, including major developers, utilities, financial investors, and regulatory bodies. Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated history of successfully closing and delivering large-scale (5MW) PV projects, with deep knowledge of project financing, PPA structures, and investment frameworks in Iberia. A solid understanding of PV module technology, system design, and project economics (LCOE, CAPEX, OPEX), with the ability to translate technical features into tangible business value. World-class commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of steering complex deals to successful completion. Educational Background: Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (MBA is a plus). This is a chance to lead a key European market for a true technology innovator.
