With 96.5% of our staff expressing high satisfaction in being part of this family, is currently seeking a Piping Engineer for our offices located in Spain. /ppRequirements /pulliDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related fields. /liliMinimum 8 years of experience in the design, planning, and supervision of piping systems in industrial projects, preferably within the oil, gas, energy, or construction sectors. /liliAdvanced proficiency in piping design and modeling software (CAESAR II, Smart 3D, Navisworks, Cadworx, PDMS, or others). /liliKnowledge of international piping standards and codes (ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, ISO). /liliExperience in stress calculations, flexibility analysis, and static/dynamic analysis of piping systems. /liliSizing and selection of materials, valves, flanges, joints, and fittings. /liliDesign of pipe supports considering thermal, structural, and operational loads. /liliExperience in testing, inspections, and quality control of joints and systems (welding, NDT, pneumatic and hydrostatic testing). /lili3D modeling, clash detection coordination, and technical document management. /li /ulpLocation /pulli100% on-site in Spain. /li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, plan, and supervise piping systems according to technical specifications and applicable regulations. /liliDefine materials, diameters, thicknesses, and other technical specifications, ensuring efficiency, quality, and market availability. /liliPrepare, review, and validate drawings, isometrics, and specifications for piping, supports, and accessories using specialized software (CAESAR II, Smart 3D, Navisworks, Cadworx, or others). /liliPrepare technical reports and supporting documentation for clients, contractors, and regulatory entities. /liliCoordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines for the integration of piping systems into the overall project design. /liliSupervise and manage on-site assembly and installation, ensuring alignment, welding quality, supports, and compliance with international standards. /liliProvide technical guidance in resolving issues during construction, operation, and maintenance phases. /liliAssess technical risks related to pressure, temperature, corrosion, and vibration, proposing preventive and corrective solutions. /liliPerform inspections, pressure testing, and hydrostatic testing to verify system integrity and functionality. /liliEnsure compliance with applicable international standards and codes (ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, among others). /liliParticipate in cost planning and scheduling, providing progress metrics and periodic reports. /liliPerform other duties inherent to the position. /li /ulh3Why join DAPIN? /h3ulliYou will be part of a global community of professionals passionate about engineering, innovation, and large-scale change.
