Role Overview Stellantis is seeking an experienced SRM Senior Buyer to lead the Rare Earths and Magnet commodity strategy at global level. This role is critical to securing supply continuity, competitiveness, and sustainability for key materials supporting electrification, e‑motors, and advanced vehicle technologies. The position will be responsible for defining and executing the global sourcing strategy for Rare Earth elements, Gallium, Germanium, and Magnets Strategy, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, sustainability, legal, and external partners across regions. Key Responsibilities Commodity & Strategy Leadership • Define and deploy the global Rare Earth elements, Gallium, Germanium, and Magnets Strategy, aligned with Stellantis electrification roadmap and long‑term business objectives., • Lead sourcing, business model strategy, and risk‑mitigation actions strategies across the value chain., • Develop and maintain short, mid, and long‑term supply strategies, including contingency plans for critical materials. Supplier & Stakeholder Management • Lead supplier engagement, including JVs, and other partners., • Drive supplier selection, qualification, and SRM governance in line with Stellantis processes., • Coordinate with JVs and final customers to align on offtake structures and contractual frameworks., • Manage cross‑functional alignment with Engineering, Manufacturing, Legal, Sustainability, Finance, and Program teams. Risk, Compliance & Sustainability • Map geopolitical, regulatory, and supply‑chain risks, including export controls and critical raw material regulations., • Ensure compliance with SRM policies, ESG requirements, due diligence, and sustainability commitments., • Support sustainability initiatives including traceability, responsible sourcing, recycling, and circular economy projects. Commercial & Contractual Leadership • Lead commercial negotiations, long‑term agreements, offtake contracts, and strategic partnerships., • Support business cases for strategic investments, JVs, or long‑term supply agreements., • Contribute to executive‑level communications, decision memos, and governance forums. Qualifications & Experience Required • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Commodity Management., • Experience with purchasing, preferably critical raw materials or energy transition materials., • Ability to manage complex, global, cross‑functional projects., • Solid understanding of geopolitical risk, supply chain resilience, and sustainability topics., • Experience negotiating long‑term contracts and strategic agreements., • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus). Preferred • Experience in automotive, energy, mining, or industrial sectors., • Exposure to Joint Ventures, strategic investments, or upstream supply chains., • Strong executive communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
