Delivering a ‘best practice’ personalised support service,
appropriate to clients’ needs, culture and diversity.
Assisting clients with accommodation support, advice, payment
of service charge, claiming benefits, preparing clients for move-on.
Knowledge of ‘best practice’ in both crisis intervention and planned support working.
Undertaking referrals and assessments of potential clients, working with them to identify the most appropriate housing solution for their needs
Supporting clients in developing life skills
Creating strong action plans based on support needs
Referrals and signposting to agencies
Working as part of a team to provide a wraparound service for clients with diverse needs
Assisting clients with medication
Carrying out duty/reception work as required and in line with hostel rota
Facilitating training and group work
Working in partnership with external agencies as and when required
