The Job You’ll Do; • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery & equipment to a high standard, • Adhere to the company’s HSE standards, • Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and all production-related equipment, • Support the installation of new equipment as required. Inspect and assess the functionality of production machinery, • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns efficiently, • Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools. Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and inspections, • Produce and submit comprehensive maintenance reports, • Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve company objectives. Design and fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades, • Communicate effectively with the production team and maintain a clean, organized work area, • Assist with training and mentoring apprentices, • Undertake facilities maintenance duties as required About You; • Time served and ideally multi-skilled, although a slight bias towards Electrical or Mechanical is considered, • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above, • Previous experience as an industrial maintenance technician or in an equivalent role, • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems maintenance, • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, • Basic computer and report writing skills, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment, • Physical fitness
