The Gym Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring our members have a positive and productive experience. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the gym, assisting members with equipment, and providing excellent customer service. What does the role involve? · Greet members and guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanour. Supporting the day to day tasks of the gym manager. · Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym floor, locker rooms, and common areas. · Assist members with the proper use of gym equipment and provide guidance on workout routines as needed. · Ensure all equipment is in good working order; report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. · Restock supplies such as vending machines and sanitation station products. · Enforce gym rules and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all members. · Provide information about gym services, membership options, and promotions. · Assist in organizing and setting up for classes and events. · Respond to member inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. · Support administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing membership forms.
