You will join a welcoming multidisciplinary team on our John Stacey ward, where our services run 7 days per week. We have the opportunity to offer full time and part time positions to help with the flexibility of hours to suit you! We provide general medical and stroke rehabilitation for those stepping down form the acute trusts; as well as supporting our primary care colleagues with admission avoidance and stepping up from the community. Key Responsibilities: * Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in line with individual care plans. * Support daily care and treatment under the guidance of a registered practitioner. * Encourage patient and carer involvement in decision-making. * Promote patient independence and dignity at all times. * Work collaboratively within a multi-professional team. * Ensure clear, respectful communication, including support for language or hearing barriers. * Maintain accurate documentation of patient needs and preferences. * Practice effective infection control and contribute to a safe care environment. * Assist in clinics (e.g. dressing, fracture) and carry out delegated tasks confidently. * Support junior staff and seek guidance from registered staff when needed. * Perform select administrative duties as required. * Obtain appropriate consent and provide or request a chaperone when needed. * Uphold policies, procedures, and professional standards at all times.
