?? Location: Westerleigh ??? Department: Human Resources ?? Reports to: HR Business Partner About the Role We're looking for a proactive and engaging HR Advisor to join our Westerleigh site. This is a key role within the HR team, providing high-quality, professional support to site management and employees across all areas of HR. You'll play an important part in supporting the people agenda, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation, while helping to foster a positive and collaborative working environment. As a visible presence on site, you will act as a trusted partner to stakeholders and a strong ambassador for the values and culture we promote across Pilgrim's Europe. What You'll Be Doing • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management, • Support employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and employment law, • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in line with GDPR and company standards, • Support union relationships, meetings, and negotiations, • Work with managers to review headcount, workforce planning, and recruitment needs, • Support end-to-end recruitment, from advertising roles through to onboarding, • Monitor use of agency labour and challenge where appropriate, • Ensure all new starter processes are completed accurately and on time, • Drive employee engagement initiatives and site communication activities, • Promote and support wellbeing programmes and company initiatives, • Support employee forums such as Works Council, ensuring effective communication and follow-up, • Build strong relationships across the site to promote a positive culture, • Support the delivery of performance reviews and PDPs across the site, • Coach and guide line managers on development conversations, • Work closely with the Training team on key initiatives including inductions, apprenticeships, and development programmes, • Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy for reporting and KPIs, • Produce and analyse site KPIs, including absence, turnover, and engagement metrics, • Ensure the site is fully prepared for audits and remains compliant at all times, • Support continuous improvement activities across HR processes, • Promote health and wellbeing initiatives across the site, • Work with Occupational Health to support employee capability and absence management, • Provide guidance to managers to achieve the best outcomes for both employees and the business What We're Looking For Experience & Skills • Previous experience in an HR Advisor role, ideally within a fast-paced or manufacturing environment, • Strong employee relations experience and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning, • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels, • Strong organisational and administration skills with excellent attention to detail, • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team Desirable • Experience with HR systems (e.g., ResourceLink, SAP, Open Options), • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), • Experience supporting payroll processes Qualifications • Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards, • Degree-level education preferred, • Strong numerical and written skills What we are looking for?
