Maintenance Engineer - Multi-SkilledWorcestershire - permanent - fulltime - Up to £52,000 - Day and Night Shift (4on 4off) My client is a leading UK manufacturer supplying products into major retail and commercial markets. Due to continued investment and growth, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.Applications are welcomed from electrically biased, mechanically biased, or fully multi-skilled engineers with experience gained within manufacturing, FMCG, production, process, military, or other fast-paced engineering environments.Commutable from Worcester, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster and CheltenhamThe role: • Complete planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across a range of automated production equipment., • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and control system faults to minimise downtime., • Read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams and mechanical drawings., • Use the site's CMMS system to record maintenance activity and support asset reliability., • Support condition-based maintenance and asset improvement initiatives., • Identify recurring equipment issues and contribute towards long-term engineering solutions., • Participate in root cause analysis activities and implement corrective actions., • Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability and performance., • Assist with continuous improvement projects focused on safety, reliability, quality and efficiency., • Support installation, commissioning and modification of plant equipment where required., • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.The Person:, • Time-served engineering apprenticeship., • Experience working within a manufacturing, production or process environment., • Electrical qualification to ONC/HNC level or equivalent experience preferred., • Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems., • Comfortable working independently and as part of a shift engineering team., • Understanding of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies.Desirable, • HNC in Electrical Engineering., • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment., • IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification., • Knowledge of FMEA, RCA or other structured problem-solving tools.Benefits, • Competitive salary with shift allowance., • Structured training and career development opportunities., • Company pension scheme., • Life assurance., • Employee discount and benefits platform., • Free onsite parking., • Long-term career prospects within a growing manufacturing business., • Annual performance-related bonus.If this role sounds of interest to you, apply to today.
