The Role: As a Curry & Tandoori Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting traditional Indian curries and tandoori dishes to a consistently high standard. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and maintaining the authentic flavours our customers love. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a wide range of curries, sauces, breads, and tandoori dishes. Marinate meats, seafood, and vegetables using authentic spice blends and yogurts. Operate and maintain the tandoor oven to a professional standard. Ensure dishes are cooked and presented consistently and on time. Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times (HACCP compliance). Manage stock levels, assist with ordering, and reduce food wastage. Support and mentor junior kitchen staff when required. Requirements: Previous experience (2+ years) as a Curry Chef or Tandoori Chef in a professional Indian kitchen. Strong knowledge of Indian spices, curries, and tandoori cooking techniques. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
