We are looking to hire a senior, hands-on contract recruitment specialist with deep experience delivering and building contract desks within highly complex, technical markets. This role is designed for an experienced operator - someone who has built markets, won new clients from scratch, and personally delivered end-to-end contract solutions in demanding sectors such as Aerospace & Defence, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Energy, or adjacent complex engineering environments. You will work very closely with the Head of Contract Director, alongside a highly engaged leadership team including the CEO and benefit from warm relationships, active markets, and existing senior-level credibility to accelerate growth. There is a clear pathway to equity/shareholding for the right individual. Key Responsibilities: Contract Desk Ownership & Delivery • Full end-to-end ownership of a contract recruitment desk, • Personally manage client relationships, candidate delivery, onboarding, compliance, and extensions, • Remain hands-on and billable New Business & Market Build • Win and develop brand-new contract clients, leveraging market knowledge, networks, and credibility, • Identify and open new verticals or sub-markets aligned to business strategy, • Build long-term, repeatable contract revenue streams Client Engagement • Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, advising on contract workforce strategy, role design, compliance considerations, and delivery risk across complex engineering programmes., • Manage end-to-end client relationships, including pricing, terms, renewals, and workforce planning, • Collaborate closely with leadership to align client strategy with business growth plans Leadership Collaboration • Work closely with the Head of Contract to shape and scale the contract function, • Engage directly with the CEO on strategy, growth, and future investment, • Contribute to wider business decisions and long-term direction What We’re Looking For: Essential Experience • Senior / Principal level contract recruitment background, • Proven success recruiting into complex, regulated, or engineering-led sectors such as:, • Aerospace & Defence, • Renewables, • Oil & Gas, • Energy / Power / Infrastructure, • Demonstrated track record of new business development, not just account management, • Experience owning the full contract lifecycle (client win → delivery → extension / growth) Personal Attributes • Highly hands-on, delivery-focused, and commercially sharp, • Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable building something rather than inheriting it, • Confident operating at senior stakeholder level, • Resilient, credible, and able to open doors in competitive markets
