Job Summary We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Senior Manager of Access Experience, Project Management, and Security Training to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee the development and enhancement of our access management strategies in EMEA while ensuring that security protocols are seamlessly integrated into user experiences. You will lead cross-functional projects that prioritize user accessibility and security, leveraging your project management expertise to drive initiatives from conception to execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security training programs that empower our employees to uphold best practices in security and access management. Responsibilities For the role of Senior Manager of Access Experience, Project Management, and Security Training, the essential functions typically include: • Access Management Development: Implement AXI workshops to support Data Centers with a focus on improving the net promoter score (NPS) through project management and training where necessary, • Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects related to access experience and security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals, • Security Training Program Development: Create, implement, and oversee security training programs for employees and vendors, ensuring they understand best practices and compliance requirements related to access management and security SOPS and Security Awareness, • User Experience Optimization: Collaborate with EMEA Security COE teams to ensure that access processes are user-friendly and efficient, minimizing friction while maintaining security standards. Working closely with them on any Security Risk Assessment improvements. Partner with local operations and CSMs to improve customer experience within our Data Centers, • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Local Operations, Security COE and compliance to ensure alignment on access management policies and security training initiatives, • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of access management and security training programs and provide regular reports to senior leadership through monthly reporting, using tools set up to capture training hours, • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in access management and security training, making recommendations for continuous improvement, • Leads the execution of training strategies and adjusts as needed to achieve business results, • Creates key measures (KPIs) and benchmarks to consistently provide high quality and relevant deliverables in a timely manner, • Influences cross functional organizations to create/deliver effective training Education • Teaching Qualification, • Prince 2 or other Project related qualifications, • Proven experience in related field, • Access Management:Proven years of experience in access management, security operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of improving user experience and security protocols, • Program Management: At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional projects, with demonstrated success in managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations, • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince), • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of access management systems, security protocols, and compliance requirements, • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of access management and training programs, • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences, • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with a focus on mentoring and developing team members, • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions, • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in approach, • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in access management and security training, • Certifications (Preferred), • Project Management Professional (PMP or Prince 2), • Other relevant security or project management certifications Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
