Qualifications: Full Training provided; Higher rate for QCF Level 2 qualified candidates • Double time for key festive bank holidays, • Early access to a proportion of monthly earnings, • Refer a Friend Bonus Scheme, • Free DBS check, • Social Care Wales registration fee paid by M&D Care, • Access to Simply Health (after 6 months service), • 28 days' holiday including bank holidays, • Yearly performance and attendance related bonus schemes, • Yearly MOT UNABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE ROLE LOCATION SOUTH WALES Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Care Assistant in our specialist residential service in Ammanford SA18 2DR and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us. TH IS ROLE WILL INCLUDE WORKING NIGHTS. • Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities., • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping., • Promote independence, dignity, and well‑being through engaging and meaningful activities., • Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support., • Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales., • Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends., • Treat others with dignity and respect, • Work well as part of a team, • Strive for high-quality care and positive outcomes, • Willing to learn and grow professionally, • Take time to listen and understand individual needs, • Support people’s right to make their own choices, • Be present, attentive, and ready to help when needed, • A variety of contracted hours available (22.5 to 45 hours per week), • Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts on a rota basis, • No prior experience required – full training provided, • Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation, with full support, • Previous experience for this role would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given, • A genuine passion for providing excellent care, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, • Must be aged 18 or over #J-18808-Ljbffr
