We are seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to join Longfield House, a specialist residential service located in Clayton, Bradford. The role requires full‑time employment of 42 hours a week, with 12‑hour shifts that include alternate weekends on a two‑week rotating rota. • Offer enhanced, person‑centred care and guidance through physical and emotional support., • Learn about each individual's specific needs and provide appropriate assistance., • Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs., • Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all residents., • Support service users in accessing the community, work, college, hobbies and activities, days out and holidays., • Encourage residents to grow, develop and learn by engaging them in tasks such as cooking and cleaning., • Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people's lives., • Excellent communicator and good team player., • Sensitive and intuitive, able to empower and support independence., • Ability to work with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs., • Commitment to person‑centred planning and safeguarding., • Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
