ERP Training and Support We are actively recruiting a Training and Support Specialist to join a critical aviation and defence organisation based in Bournemouth, Christchurch. This is a vital position focused on the delivery of high quality training and expert user support for a key Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system utilised across the engineering, logistics, procurement, and finance functions. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape the use of a mission critical MRO/ERP tool within a demanding, safety regulated environment. The Role and Responsibilities This is a hands on role acting as the subject matter expert for the core business system. You will be responsible for ensuring high adoption rates and user proficiency across the organisation. Key duties include: • Designing, developing, and delivering a comprehensive ERP training programme across various user groups., • Providing in person training at the Bournemouth headquarters and other UK/international sites as required., • Acting as a key point of contact for expert user support and system troubleshooting., • Collaborating with change leads to ensure training aligns with evolving business processes and compliance requirements., • Maintaining training standards and driving continuous improvement in training effectiveness., • Representing the organisation in monthly technical meetings with the external software vendor. Essential Skills and Experience The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in both technical training and ERP system usage within a heavy regulated sector. • Proven experience in technical training delivery with a recognised Train the Trainer qualification., • Strong functional understanding of ERP or MRO systems used in engineering, logistics, or asset management., • Practical knowledge of engineering practices and operational workflows., • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills., • A clear ability to deliver complex technical topics in an accessible and engaging manner., • Willingness to undertake travel to other national or international sites. Desirable Attributes • Previous experience with Aerotrac or a similar aviation-specific MRO software tool., • Familiarity with UK CAA and EASA aviation regulatory frameworks. We are looking to recruit a Technical Author (x2) for a 6-month contract, based in Christchurch, Dorset. Project Overview The role will be working as port of a small technical documentation team on a wide area military communications system. The role requires the production, amendment and management of technical documentation outputs to support the development, operation and maintenance of the system. This will include the compilation and analysis of the appropriate source data to enable to production of Procedural, Descriptive and illustrated parts Data modules, as well as the population of the Logistic Support Analysis Repository (LSAR). The role will report to the ILS lead via the Technical Publications Lead. Core Responsibilities Request, gather and assess the required source logistic information from equipment suppliers to inform the required technical publications Undertake Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) on Electronic computing and communication systems including an array of radios and masts Author Data modules from the MTA and other publications including operating procedures and training material. This will include technical drawings Liaise with Training Team to provide assistance with training content Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Data Modules Requirements List Author from new and update the full suite of descriptive, procedural and IPD data modules to populate the Common Source Database (CSDB). Proof read and review Data Modules produced by other team members, using the CSDB workflow Produce new IETPs using Trilogibuild software for delivery to the customer Skills / Experience Extensive experience in the areas listed above under key activities A good understanding of technical source data for systems, sub-systems and Line Replaceable Items/Units (LRU/Is) for generation of technical descriptions for inclusion into relevant technical publications Data Modules (DMs) Data Module authoring to an S1000D 4.1 standard Technical Publications specifications e.g. S1000D 4.1, Def Stan 00-601 Standard Numbering Systems Population and maintenance of a Data Module Requirements List (DMRL) Technical authoring processes and techniques using industry proprietary software tools preferably through an EAGLE LSAR and EAGLE Publishing System to construct a comprehensive CSDB Knowledge and experience of XML Data Module technical authoring using EAGLE xml editor or industry equivalent.
