Office Manager & Insurance Case Handler Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Type: Full‑time, Permanent, with Hybrid Working We are proud to be working with a small, well‑established commercial insurance brokerage based in Northamptonshire, providing tailored insurance solutions to clients across a range of industry sectors, and from small businesses to global multi-site organisations. They pride themselves on a personal service, strong client relationships, and professional, but friendly working environment. They have a 96% client renewal rate, and their average length of service is over ten years. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an Office Manager & Insurance Case Handler to play a key role in both the day‑to‑day running of the office and the handling of commercial insurance cases. This is a hands‑on, varied position ideal for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys responsibility and autonomy, or for someone who is looking to take a step up to manage a well-established, and very knowledgeable team. You will oversee office operations while managing commercial insurance cases from quotation through to renewal and mid‑term adjustments. Key Responsibilities: This role has two main parts, and your time will be equally split between the two: Office Management • Oversee the smooth daily operation of the office, including prioritising and delegating work to the team., • Manage administrative processes, workflows, and documentation, and being the point of escalation for any queries., • Act as a central point of contact for suppliers and service providers., • Support compliance procedures and maintain accurate records., • Work with, and support directors with complex cases, including claims., • Assist directors with reporting, organisation, and give them a clear picture of how the business is performing. Insurance Case Handling • Manage commercial insurance policies across multiple classes (e.g. Property, Liability, Motor, Manufacturing, Medical, Professional Services & Package policies), • Handle new business, renewals, and mid‑term adjustments, • Liaise with insurers, underwriters, and clients to secure competitive terms, • Prepare policy documentation, schedules, and endorsements, • Provide clear, professional advice and service to clients What we are looking for in the Candidate • Previous experience within a commercial insurance brokerage (essential), • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes, • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, • Confident working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities, • Experience in office or operations management is highly desirable, • Cert CII or working towards professional insurance qualifications (preferred but not essential) What We Offer • Competitive salary of up to £45,000, • A key role within a small, supportive team, • Autonomy and influence in how the office operates, • Stable, long‑term opportunity within a growing brokerage, • Friendly, professional working environment, • Hybrid working – 2 days at home, and 3 days a week in the office
