SC Cleared DevOps Engineer Level: Senior Consultant — £575 p.d Inside Location: UK-wide | Home based, London site visits as required Function: DevOps | Cloud Engineering | AWS Industry: Public Sector About the Role We are working with a leading advisory consulting firm on a high-profile public sector cloud transformation programme. They are seeking two SC Cleared DevOps Engineers to join the team, focusing on designing, implementing, and optimising end-to-end DevOps processes across AWS cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to drive automation, scalability, and reliability, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping best practices. What You’ll Be Doing • Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable AWS Cloud infrastructures., • Develop and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines supporting complex, large-scale solutions., • Collaborate with stakeholders, providing expert technical guidance and influencing architectural decisions., • Automate repetitive tasks, remediate technical debt, and drive continuous improvement initiatives., • Mentor and coach junior engineers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and best practice adoption., • Maintain operational excellence through monitoring, log analytics, and observability of cloud environments.
