Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Newcastle (and surrounding areas) We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to deliver exceptional building services maintenance across a portfolio of client properties. This role focuses on refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring assets operate safely, efficiently and reliably while exceeding customer expectations. Job Description Working across planned, reactive and technical maintenance tasks, you will provide expert support on AC, refrigeration and wider HVAC services. Key Responsibilities • Deliver AC and refrigeration-biased PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance within set SLAs via the helpdesk., • Inspect, repair, modify and install refrigeration and AC equipment, including compressors, chillers, retail refrigeration and system controls., • Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks and make required adjustments or repairs to refrigeration and AC units., • Diagnose and replace defective components including thermostats, fan controls, relays, filters, belts, compressors, heat exchangers, and safety/pressure controls., • Install, rebuild, replace or repair equipment such as fans, motors, valves, fuses, gaskets and related HVAC components., • Complete wider building services tasks including fabric, mechanical and associated maintenance duties., • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety requirements, including completing risk assessments and method statements., • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining systems to a world-class standard across all client sites. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications • Significant experience in AC/refrigeration or HVAC building services including fault-finding, maintenance and installation., • Proven track record delivering reactive and PPM maintenance in commercial FM environments. Qualifications • NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration & AC Systems, • NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating & Ventilation, • NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating & Ventilation Service & Maintenance The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
