Commercial Contracts Manager – Hybrid (UK) About the Role: As a Commercial Contracts Manager, you will manage the full lifecycle of domestic commercial contracts, from negotiation and execution to delivery and closeout. You will play a vital role in supporting strategic business objectives, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and contributing to winning new work within a complex defence environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead negotiation of contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, • Manage the full Route to Contract, including bid preparation, proposal generation, and contract agreement, • Oversee contract delivery, amendments, renewals, and closeout, ensuring obligations are met, • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including MoD standards, • Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies, • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on contractual matters, • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior management on contract status and risks, • Manage and resolve contract disputes in collaboration with legal and other relevant teams What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience in commercial contract management within a defence environment, • Experience drafting, negotiating, and agreeing contracts and agreements, • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams, • Familiarity with MoD contracting structures (DEFCONs, QDCs) is preferred What We Offer: • Salary: Circa £63,000–£68,000 depending on experience, • Company Bonus: Up to 21% of base salary, • Pension: Up to 14% total contribution (employer + employee), • Flexible working: 2–3 days per week on-site with hybrid arrangements, • Enhanced parental leave: Up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption, shared parental leave, with additional enhancements for paternity, neonatal leave, and fertility support, • Site facilities: Subsidised meals, free car parking, and more Next Steps: For this role you will have to gain UK Security Clearance; therefore, we cannot process your application unless you currently hold British Nationality as a minimum qualification.
